Act of Depression (Reissue)

After 14 years of touring the world as one of the most pivotal and influential hardcore acts in history, Underoath capped their incredible career with a final tour and the release of their Anthology 1999-2013 in late 2012. This release featured songs from their out-of-print first album Act of Depression, which is now being re-released on Solid State Records so that long-time fans can complete their Underoath collections with the record that started it all.

Underoath has sold over 1.3 million albums lifetime, with Define The Great Line and They're Only Chasing Safety each achieving RIAA Gold status. The band's loyal fan base lives on, with over 1.4 million likes on Facebook and 121,000 followers on Twitter.

"Over the past decade or so of our lives, we have been able to live a dream traveling the world, playing music that excites us, and meeting more amazing people than we could have ever fathomed," says keyboardist Chris Dudley. "This couldn't be a more bittersweet moment for us. We have accomplished more, met more friends, seen more places and have just done more than we could have ever imagined, and we really wanted to just go out on the highest note possible. That's why we have put together a group of great friends and musicians for what will be our final tour ever. We are taking every moment of this tour as an opportunity to say goodbye to you all, as well as celebrate what has taken place over all these years. The love we have and the debt of gratitude that we owe to all of you is not able to be measured in any way."

Quick Bio

For the six men in Underoath, whose members have evolved and thrived during a decade-long progression that has elevated them into one of heavy music’s biggest successes, change has been ubiquitous. 2010 has been no exception for the Tampa-based sextet, who underwent and overcame what many consider their most significant line-up alteration yet. Yet in doing so, Underoath experienced an artistic rebirth in the form of Ø (Disambiguation), its triumphant fifth album for Solid State/Tooth & Nail.
