The Tick Tock Treasury
In speaking of synth-pop, Joy Electric is the rule. The sixth and most recent full-length effort, "The Tick Tock Treasury," is no exception. Recorded by Ronnie Martin in 2003 at The Electric Joy Toy Company Electronic Music Workshop (his home studio), and mixed by Aaron Sprinkle (Pedro the Lion, Poor Old Lu, Kutless) at The Compound in Seattle, WA; this album asserts its musical ingenuity, originality, and consonance with the frothy pong-pop melodies fans have come to expect, and moreover, love. The joy is not just in the name.
